Back!

Hey everyone!

Well, we got sooo busy with our 2011/2012 Season, that it's half way over!
A few changes, we are not doing A Stitch in Time anymore, and we've moved Awakenings to the summer spot.

Other than that, things have been going along swimmingly! We're into rehearsals for FIDDLER ON THE ROOF right now (with a cast of aprox 72)!

I for one cannot wait until we move into the CCC to fill the theatre with the voices in that chorus! It's sounding AMAZING!

2011/2012 Season Unveiled

Our first season in the new building is over, and we had a blast!

 

Our 2011/2012 Season is well underway with

Witness for the Prosecution : October 12th - 22nd

Tis the Season : November 30th - December 4th

Fiddler on the Roof : April 18th - 28th

Awakenings : May 9th - 13th

A Stitch in Time : July 11th - 15th

What's up next??

Ah... Noises Off is over and there is a slight lull for everyone..


Unless you are in the cast of Mother Goose! They are in rehearsals right now, and are almost ready for the big stage. Anyone who saw Noises Off at the new Cultural Centre knows that they are in for a treat to see a show in the new space. It's just fantastic.

We'll be using the fly system for the first time with this show, so be prepared to see set pieces fly up into the air for dramatic scene changes....

In other news, The Drowsy Chaperone and Sabrina Fair have their auditions in December.
Keep your eyes peeled for more information!!

The Show Must Go On! .. most of the time!

Something crazy happened this Friday at the Noises Off performance!
The power went out right before the end of Act One! The actors kept on going through the emergency lights though, until the technical director came onstage to inform the audience that they would have to wait in the lobby.
Later, it was discovered that there was a car accident nearby and the power would not come back on until midnight... I guess sometimes the show can't go on! :(

The disappointed but understanding customers are allowed to come and see the show again though, so everything turned out in the end. Just make sure you reserve a seat with the box office!
